Hello, I am creating simple Button with Clicked property in Cross-Platform (xamarin forms) .Net stardard project and the is no auto event handler poping up
already tried clean reinstall. What could it be?
If you make a new solution.. Then add a new Project can you pick a PCL project type?
Basically flip the old process which was make a PCL and migrate it Standard, into make a standard and migrate it to PCL
It funny that you have lost PCL after the update. I just banged every update available to my VS2017 box and it still shows shared/PCL and I have to migrate if I want Standard. Hmmm... Will have to play some more this weekend.
Are you on XF 2.5? According to @StephaneDelcroix .NET standard isn't supported. Maybe that could be the cause.
I'm stunned about this news. I need to dig in more about it so I understand what's up. I had just started working on a new tutorial series for 2018 using a .NET Standard solution as the basis. (New year, build a new app for the tutorials). Now I'm not sure what to think.
Does it work as expected in a PCL solution?
Is there a way to create PCL anymore? After I updated VS I am getting these 2 options "Shared project" ".net standard"
It's still not work.
Xamarin.Forms version: 18.104.22.168934
Why doest this happen for new .Net Standard project? Will any update be available soon?
