Unable to update Xamarin after buying Indie License.

Hi

I purchased a single Android Indie license last night, installed Xamarin but when it tried to update I got the following message:

Error verifying license. Please contact support.

I emailed support early last night and still don't have a reply, would really like to get this sorted. Is there anything I can try do to resolve this? I am amble to build and deploy my projects but the debugger fails to connect and I get this exception:

[libc] bionic/libc/upstream-netbsd/libc/stdlib/bsearch.c:70: bsearch: assertion "key != NULL" failed
[mono-rt] Stacktrace:

[mono-rt] a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries

I think this is an old bug related to android 4.3 but I can't get the latest stable updates because of the license issue.

Cheers
Adrian

  • Go to Tools(in Menu bar) -> Account and then Log in with your account. Debugger fails because You May not be log in with your Indie Account.

Xamarin guys, it would be nice if you could answer your own question.

@CodeMonkey: I'm sorry, to what question are you referring?

Sorry @mhutch, worded that in a hurry, I'm referring to the question we're currently posting against. As the author of the question, I cannot mark any of my own posts as the answer.

No worries, I can mark it. Glad you found a fix! My guess would be that your XA and XS versions somehow got out of sync.
