XF app no longer deploying to iOS simulators since XCode 9.1 upgrade...

I'm running VS 2017 on Windows 10 on PC and XCode 9.1 on Mac Mini w osx 10.13.1 (high sierra).

PRIOR to upgrading the OSX then XCode, I was able to SEE iOS simulators in the list in VS AND deploy to them on the Mac.

Since upgrading all on the Mac, I'm not seeing the iOS simulators showing in the list in VS.
Android app still runs just fine on similators.

I have checked for Xamarin Forms updates etc. all seems up to date.

Build is set to Debug, iPhoneSimulator and a simulator is running on the Mac.
VS connects to the build agent and all compiles, no prob.

Keep getting a message: Please select a valid device before running the application.

Can ANYONE PLEASE tell me what the prob is and any possible fix!

Update (for anyone who has the same issue)...

Run the simulator application on the Mac but close all device windows.

Re-start VS on the PC, open you project then set iOS proj as the target. (I hadn't and it didn't "see" anything on the Mac...)
As long as VS can connect to the Mac agent, it ought to find all device simulators.

You can target any device in the list as long as that simulator image has been installed...

A little different to pre-XCode 9.1 but now it works.

    Hope that helps someone.
