Create UI like Google calendar

ZenDroidZenDroid USMember ✭✭

I created mobile app for android(Xamarin Forms). Now I do not like the look of it, I want to update it. I like the look of the app Google Calendar.
Example:

How to create similar interface in Xamarin Forms?
1. Use RelativeLayout in Xamarin Forms.
2. Use CoordinatorLayout in Android and create custom renderer.

Which of these ways is better? any advice?

p.s. I plan to create a version of my app for iOS. then I will have to change the look of the page. this is an important point.

My rule of thumb is: If I can do it at a generic PCL level then I should do it at the PCL level - Unless I have a compelling reason otherwise.

If you do it at the XAML level then you have only one place to change anything. Once and done. No chance of getting Android out of sync with iOS etc.

I would avoid RelativeLayout at all costs. Only use it if it's a last resort.
For that layout, I don't think there's any reason why you can't use a Grid
