Hiding the navigation bar makes the app stop working

On my Samsung Galaxy S8+ I can hide the navigation field. This will not resize the view and the app will not be able to render new views.

The same issue happens if the screen has been turned off for some time and I start it again and press a button to open a view.

I am not using XAML. Has anyone else seen this? Check the gif video below.

Okay so a classic Xamarin bug. After one week of trying to find the case and fix the issue I did it.

I am using this library: BottomNavigationBarXF
    https://github.com/thrive-now/BottomNavigationBarXF

I copied the code to my project, removed the library and it worked. I don't really get the thing where I'm supposed to save time by using Xamarin... Most of the time developing in Xamarin is just trying to fix weird bugs.

It seems to be a problem on the views where I use BottomBarPage. On my register view I don't have BottomBarPage and it works on that page.
