Can VS 2015 and VS 2017 share Android SDK's?

I have VS 2015 installed with several Android SDK's. My SSD space is limited, so when I install VS 2017 I'd like to avoid installing a second set of Android SDK's.
Do both editions of Visual Studio inherently use the same SDK's? Or should I uninstall the Android SDK's from VS 2015 before installing VS 2017?
I have no need to develop Xamarin app with VS 2015, but I do have other (non-mobile) applications that depend on VS 2015. For this reason, I do not intend to uninstall VS 2015 itself.
