It is pointing to this file path:_ C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Community\MSBuild\Xamarin\Android\Xamarin.Android.Common.targets **_ but target file showing this: **_Touch Files="$(_PackagedResources)" /> LibraryProjectJars must not be used for aapt in BuildApk*, or it will *bundle* the jar .Only copy if the file contents changed, so users only get Reload? dialog for real changes _

I have literally just had the same problem, I fixed it by ensuring that none of my resources have the character '-' or any other characters that are deemed illegal in the resources directory. Names must contain only lowercase a-z, 0-9, or underscore characters.

  • @WillGHolmes , I resolved it creating new Project with same kind of forms. I have done wrong is I have been copy and paste one form from outside their colour code is placed like this =” #ffffff”. Now its resolved. Thanks for solution also.
