    Hey,
    Can you help me wrap my head around this situation, i believe im missing something here, renaming the image "bubble1.9.png" to "bubble1.png" (removed ".9") changes its behaviour?

    For some reason i cant attach an image to explain the question, i get "You have to be around for a little while longer before you can post links." , but you can see the link below for image example

    An image with a .9.png extension is referred to as a nine patch. Basically, it's a stretchable and scalable image. There's a pretty good write up here: http://radleymarx.com/blog/simple-guide-to-9-patch/

    By changing the extension Android thinks it's a regular png image so no scaling and stretching.
