Best offline backend?

I need to build an app, where 1 - 10 users can access the backend only in an local environment. Yes, no internet, just wifi!
Not many data, just a simple warehouse programm. And the backend should run on my Win7 laptop.

What kind of backend would you recomend?

Depends on what technology you like - if you love C# use core, if you like JS then use Node. You could even run a simple Parse server. It will suck though - windows does love to reboot your laptop with updates, so can't you use something more reliable?

The Backend Services JavaScript SDK's offline support helps you create apps that remain nearly fully operational even when completely disconnected from the backend. It does that by storing data locally on the device and then synchronizing it after re-connecting to the backend.
Offline support is designed to be easily implemented in new or existing apps that use the Backend Services JavaScript SDK and maintains full compatibility with previous versions of the SDK.
